Following the successful resurrection of the bellringing team at Feniton for the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War 1 we would like to continue ringing. Not just continue, but continue to improve our ringing.

If anyone would like to learn to ring the church bells, now would be a

good time to do so! It has been suggested that age 10 would be a reasonable minimum age. Height is not an issue as we have a number of boxes for shorter ringers to stand on. The bells at Feniton are not especially heavy (as bells go!) and are 'a nice set' which are frequently in demand from visiting ringers. We are anticipating receiving training from the Devon Guild of Bellringers' Education Officer. Our practises are at 7pm on a Friday evening. We would love you to join us and ensure the continuation of this centuries old skill (it's good exercise too!).

If you would like to come along please contact our Tower Captain, Josephone Chown on 01404 850513 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
