I know that we are still feeling summery between the storms of rain, but I need to think about our Harvest Festival which will be on Sunday 24th September. The time has gone really quick, hasn't it?
We will be arranging the flowers on Saturday 23rd ready for Sunday's service. In the morning if possible because there is a Christening at 2pm. Friday is free if that
suits you better. If you have any spare foliage or flowers in the garden that you can spare we would be very grateful. Also vegetables, as this gives the Church a real Harvest feel. I will be in contact with my regular ladies but we would love to see some new faces. Coffee and biscuits will be served to help you along. This will be Cate's last service with us, so it would be good to get the Church looking reallly special.
The rota for Flowers in the Pedestal on Sundays is on the noticeboard on the left in the Church porch. Again, new faces are welcome. No special skills required. There is a small flower fund to help with the cost of the flowers. As usual we are most grateful to the ladies who give their time etc. to provide flowers on a weekly/fortnightly basis.
