|Message from the Headteacher|
It has been a very quiet week and there isn’t much to report. The children have been working hard and the week has flown by.
Each class will be sending out their curriculum sheets today. If you have any questions please see your class teacher.
In the event of a weather warning please check our school website. We will also inform the local radio stations confirming any school closure and we will also send a text out to everyone, but let’s hope that won’t be the case.
Please see my itinerary below for my whereabouts next week.
Have a restful weekend,

Rock Solid’s Schools Event Challenge – Saturday 21st March 2015 @ Escot Park
We are looking at entering a team for the above event. RockSolid is a combination of an obstacle race, a run, teamwork and mud! Rock Stars is a children’s 1 kilometer obstacle race aimed at 5-13 year olds. This event is open to pupils in years 4,5 and 6 at primary level and years 7 and 8 at secondary level. The main aim with the Rock Stars event is to promote fitness, fun, team work, wellbeing and something a bit different to children in the Exeter area.
If you think this is something your child would like to take part in, please can you let Mrs Lush or Mrs Vincent know. We are hoping to put a team together so please let us know by 30th January 2015. You can find out more information at www.rocksolidrace.com or ask for details in the office.
As requested by the local authorityThe admission authorities for all schools are required by the School Admissions Code to consult on their admission arrangements. Equally, local authorities such as Devon are required to consult on the co-ordination schemes and other policies that enable parents to apply for places. The intention is that admission arrangements meet the needs of parents and children. Consultation is an important part of the process in setting school admission arrangements.
We are consulting stakeholders on the proposed admission arrangements for Devon County Council and on behalf of all local authority maintained schools and those academies for which we provide additional admissions advice and support. This includes a number of schools in other local authority areas.
The documents proposed by Devon and individual schools will be available for review from 2 January to 28 February 2015 at www.devon.gov.uk/admissionarrangements ‘
