Well it is definitely cooler as I write this article, and we have already enjoyed the first blackberry and apple crumble,a sure sign of Autumn.

All is safely being gathered in, and we celebrate the Harvest with our service on the 23rd September at 11am.After the service we will enjoy a bring and share

lunch, you are all warmly invited to join us.On the 25th of September at 10.30am we will be holding a Harvest service for the members of the memory cafe in Honiton with refreshments afterwards.If you know anybody who you feel would enjoy the service please come and join us .

   Story time continues on the first Sunday of the month, run by Danny, Amy and Vicky it is a good opportunity for your children to meet in Church to enjoy, bible stories, craft activities and some singing, followed by refreshments. Starting at 10 am.

If you know of anyone who is unwell or in distress living in our community and who would appreciate prayers said for them by our Church prayer circle,please contact us on the Church website (www.efpchurch.org.uk) we also have a Pastoral visiting team willing to visit anyone who is unwell or wishing to receive Holy Communion at home.

         On October the 20th we will be hosting another of our increasingly popular coffee morning raising funds for our new shoebox appeal.Having supported the Samaritans purse for many years this year we have decided as the PCC to raise funds and fill shoeboxes for a new charity , which includes boxes for parents and grandparents.Please watch out for further news and please save your shoe boxes if you would like to help. Come and join us for lovely coffee cake and company.

Reverend Dave is gradually finding his way around the Parish, getting to meet lots of people in the village, quite a task with his three parishes to get to know .

We had several people from other churches visit our beautiful church on Saturday 8th September as they took part in the Historic Churches Trust ride and stride day.

Our local Kids Matter ( a national charity to help parents and carers ) team leader is up and running.If you feel you would like some loving support with the sometimes challenging task of bringing up our children please contact Nicola Hart or Vicky Sanders on Tel :- 841890 for times of taster sessions on the 28th September or 1st October .

         On the 28th October a service of reflection and memories of the flooding ten years ago..It will be held in church between 2pm and 5pm. More news of that in Reverend Davids article.
