Well we will soon have this cold winter behind us, already signs of life in the beautiful snowdrops and early daffodils. We have had an interesting month. We met at Payhembury for a team P.C.C. away day. The theme of the day being faith, hope and love. We realise that as a Church we need to be reflecting those three fruits in
the day to day life of our Churches and our lives as Christians. If you are needing communion at home or a visit or a lift to Church please ask and we will help. Contact David or myself, our numbers are below.
Now that all the wonder of Christmas and the new year have settled we move into what is known as ordinary time. As the spring arrives and everything starts to grow it brings with it the need to keep our beautiful churchyard tidy. Any offers of help would be very welcome. We meet at 9am on the first Saturday of each month, 2nd March is the first meeting. David Lanning is the co-ordinator, his contact number is below.
We continue to keep busy with our Lent course, held on Wednesday evenings at seven p.m. on the ….. This will be led by Anne and Keith Mills at their home in Church Lane.
April 10th is the A.P.C.M. of St Andrew church please come and join us if you can.
Saturday the 13th March is the first of our lovely coffee morning delicious cakes, coffee and good company. All the funds we raise will be donated to Feniton School.
Early notice for the weekend of May 18th and 19th, The Friends of St Andrews are organising a craft fair in the church. Refreshments will also be available. If you have created something beautiful and would like to show it, this is a good opportunity.
We hope you will be able to come and join us at one of our services, don’t forget story time on the first Sunday of each month, a service for toddlers and school age children.The children enjoy craft activity, stories form the Bible singing and refreshment.9.45 am start.
