As the ground around our usual Easter Sunrise Service site was so waterlogged and slippery (Health and Safety hazard!) the service took place in the church instead. Instead of a bonfire, a fire basket was used.

Our annual church meeting duly took place on 12th March with a very small group of us present. I was re-elected as churchwarden and the PCC were re-elected en bloc with the very welcome addition of Lindsay Saunders who is now able to re-join us. We are sorry for the reason as we grieve Chris’s

Wednesday 15 November - coffee morning 11am at Brooklands, by invitation of Pat and Clive Fowler
Tuesday 21 November - girls' night out 8pm in the Six Bells
Did you know that Becky's alternate Monday Bible study evenings are now called the Home Group and now meet at Tuck Mill Cottage, by invitation of Margaret Harris. The two dates for November are Monday 13th and Monday 27th, both at 8pm.
Becky's Emmaus Group are meeting at her house, Cherrybrook on Friday 3rd and Friday 17th at 9.15am. Becky is shortly to be going into hospital for an op. so I am not convinced that both these will happen but they are in our parish mag for November.
