The first soup lunch of the season was held at the beginning of October and raised £310 to support our local youth worker, Graham Harry.

The next will be held on Monday 4 November, hosted by John & Ann Masters and will be for the benefit of the Melanesian Mission in the Solomon Islands.

Our last soup lunch of the season raised over £600 for the Ottery Help Scheme. It was a full house, so thank you to everyone who contributed so generously to Lesley's lunch.

Monday October 1st - Hosted by Judy Davis. Raising funds for Honiton Hospiscare Centre.

Monday November 12th - Hosted by Ann and John Masters  for Melanesian Mission UK.

Monday December 3rd - Hosted by Olive Price - charity to be advised.

All lunches will be held in Escot Village Hall from 12.00 until 2pm. suggeseted donation is £5 and a room draw will be held. We look forward to meeting you for delicious soups and puds.

Our December lunch, hosted by Olive Price, raised £324 for the charity 'Hearing Dogs for the Deaf'. Thank you for your generosity. We also had a very interesting explanation of the training that the dogs undergo.

Our January lunch is on the second Monday, January 8th at Escot Village Hall between 12 noon and 2pm. It will be hosted by Escot PCC and contributions will go towards the New Boiler Fund for the church.

We look forward to seeing you again, and wish you a Happy New Year.

We had a splendid response to our November Soup Lunch in support of the FORCE Charity. A total of £350 was reaised for this very worthy Exeter-based charity.

Our December lunch will be hosted by Olive Price for "Hearing Dogs for the Deaf". We hope you will be able to join us on Minday December 4th at Escot Village Hall between 12 noon and 2pm.
